This is an application for condonation of delay of 549 days in preferring the revision application against order dated 17.06.2019 passed by the Family Court in Petition-E No.625/2015.

The reason for delay is that the applicant was not updated by his counsel and he came to know the order of Family Court only when notice of execution proceedings was served on 20.01.2020 and thereafter there was movement restrictions imposed by the Government due to outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, he could not prefer revision application within time.

It appears from the judgment that though the applicant has filed reply to the application of the non-application before the Family Court thereafter he did not remain present to crossexamine the non-applicant.

In view of above and for the reasons mentioned in the application, delay is condoned subject to payment of costs of Rs.3,000/- to the non-applicant.
