The applicant-wife has filed this application for transfer of Marriage Petition No.457/2022 filed by the non-applicant-husband before the 4th Joint Civil Judge (Senior Division), Nagpur to the Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kalyan, District Thane.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is residing at Kalyan with her child of around five years and she is working as lecturer at New Mumbai. The non-applicant who has filed the aforesaid proceedings in Nagpur Court is presently residing at Amravati and is working from home. However, it is submitted that as and when the non-applicanthusband would be required to work physically, he will also be working in Mumbai only.

The respondent though served, remained absent. 4.

In view of aforesaid, as the applicant and the non-applicant both are working in Mumbai/Thane, considering the convenience of both the parties, the Marriage Petition No.457/2022 pending before the 4th Joint Civil Judge (Senior Division), Nagpur is transferred to the Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kalyan, District Thane.
