DATED : 15/04/2019 The petitioner has challenged the Constitutional validity of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Maharashtra Amendment) Act, 2015 by which Section 156 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure is amended.

Prima facie, it appears that the petition is required to be registered as civil writ petition and has to be placed before appropriate Bench.
