By these applications, the appellant prays that it be permitted to deposit the amount of compensation as directed while staying the effect and operation of the impugned award. It is submitted that one cheque has been received for the amount

fa.383.15 2/2 which are to be deposited in four appeals. As the appellant intends to deposit the amount of compensation in terms of earlier order, the applications are allowed.

If the amount in question is deposited within a period of one week from today, the order of stay granted earlier shall continue to operate during pendency of the appeals. A composite cheque for Rs.8,06,105/- is permitted to be accepted.

The applications are disposed of.
