Since the prayer is not opposed, same stands allowed. The amended petition be placed on record within a period of one week from today and the copy of amended petition be served on the counsel for the respondents.

Civil Application No.616/2025 is allowed and disposed of. Civil Application No.617/2025 4.

With the permission of the Court, appointment order issued in favour of respondent No.5 is placed on record which was issued on 11/03/2025 i.e. after this Court has passed an order making the selection subject to outcome of the writ petition. 5.

It is the fact that the petitioner is holding the charge of the post of Executive Engineer on which the respondent No.5 was appointed. 6.

It appears from the record that one way or the other, the respondent No.2-Zilla Parishad was bent upon to appoint the

931-WP-723-25.odt 2/2 respondent No.5 either by continuation or otherwise on the post of Executive Engineer pursuant to his appointment on 11/03/2025. 7.

In this backdrop, we direct that the charge of the post of Executive Engineer be not dissolved from the petitioner until further orders.

We grant time to the non-applicants/respondents to file their reply. In the meantime we also permit the petitioner to amend the petition questioning the order dated 11/03/2025. Amendment to that effect too be carried out within a period of one week. 9.
