Considering the fact that the issue in this appeal is covered by the Judgments of this Court in First Appeal No.355 of 2018 (Ramrao Masaji Dantalwad Vs. State of Maharashtra & Ors.,) decided on 10.12.2018 and First Appeal No.1151 of 2008 and other connected matters (Nivrutti Hari Adagale Vs. The State of Maharashtra & Ors.,) decided on 04.07.2017, the learned Advocate for the appellant prayed that this appeal be also allowed in terms of the above judgments. The aforesaid preposition is not disputed by the respondents.

In view of that, the present appeal stands allowed on the basis of principle of parity in terms of the above referred judgments.

The appellant is entitled for compensation at the rate of Rs.83,000/- per hector along with other statutory benefits, except the period for which the delay was caused in filing the appeal and it was condoned by this Court by order dated 23.04.2024.

The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
