The petitioner claims to belong to 'Thakur' Scheduled Tribe. We are informed that the petitioner's real brother hold a validity certificate. The respondent/Committee is informed to have already heard the matter of the petitioner, however, the order is awaited. 2.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent/ Committee submits that the claim of the petitioner shall be decided by the Committee within a period of six months.

Be that as it may, we direct the petitioner to appear before the respondent-Committee with his written notes of arguments on 29.01.2024. The Committee shall thereafter afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and decide the claim by 31.03.2024. 4.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
