The application is hopelessly misconceived.

The prayer clause of the application read thus: i) direct the respondent no. 2 to decide the application dated 09.08.2019 annexed as ANNEXURE-D and grant permission under section 197 to prosecute respondent no.2.

ii) Any other order this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper under the circumstance of the case may kindly be passed in the interest of justice.

I am afraid that the jurisdiction under section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Code) is not available to challenge the alleged inaction in deciding an application seeking sanction under section 197 of the Code. 4.

The applicant is at liberty to take appropriate steps, after obtaining effective legal advice.
