Nobody is present for the petitioner. Heard Shri Patil, learned APP for the respondents.

The petitioner has a grievance about rejection of his application dated 31.07.2019 seeking regular parole. But, the reply filed on record by the respondents shows that the petitioner is enjoying a regular parole leave granted to him with effect from 13.08.2020. It is clear that the petition has been rendered infructuous. Unfortunately, this fact which ought to have been brought on record by none other than the petitioner after his release on regular parole on

(2) 915.cri.wp.258.2020 13.08.2020 was not brought on record by the petitioner. Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner is also absent. 3.

In these circumstances, we feel it appropriate to direct the respondents to note these facts, which in our opinion are also in the nature of misconduct on the part of the petitioner and review the order granting COVID parole to the petitioner with effect from 13.08.2020 in accordance with law. With these directions, the petition stands dismissed.
