In the light of the scheme of the Government reflected in the Government Resolution dated November 04, 2022, it is the case of the petitioner that though he is eligible to receive the benefit of aid for the purpose of digging and constructing the well, his name is excluded from the select list of beneficiaries. A representation is addressed by the petitioner to the Collector and the Block Development Officer thereby raising an objection to the select list by claiming that the candidates who are ineligible are selected and the benefits are being conferred upon them.

Be that as it may, since the representation made by the petitioner is pending before the Collector and the Block Development Officer, we deem it appropriate to direct the said Authorities to look into the said representation expeditiously and in any case by April 30, 2024. 4.
