The application seeks modification of the order dated 02/05/2022, whereby the applicant was released on bail on the condition of depositing an amount of Rs.20,00,000/-.

It is contended that the applicant, is unable to deposit the amount and therefore the condition should be relaxed and brought down to an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- to Rs.6,00,000/-. It is, however, material to note that the condition was put on account of the statement made by

APPP 497 of 2023.odt the counsel for the applicant himself as recorded in para 7 thereof that the applicant to show his bona fides was willing to deposit an amount of Rs.20,00,000/-, though the amount, which was alleged to have been received by him, was more than that and since the condition was imposed, on the own statement of the applicant, I do not see any reason to modify the same. The criminal application is therefore rejected.
