DATE : APRIL 25, 2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the State Government to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner under Section 47 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act.
Mr. Patil, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government states on instructions that the hearing of the appeal has been concluded and the matter would be decided by the State Government as early as possible.
In view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.1-State Government to decide the appeal of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of two months.
Order accordingly. No costs.
