Learned Counsel for the respondent submitted that while disposing of the First Appeal No.56/2023 dated 08/03/2023 though this Court has directed to pay the amount of Rs.8,00,000/- along with the interest @ 6% per annum but the date from which the interest is to be paid is not mentioned, and therefore, it requires a clarification,. 3.

Considering the submission made by the learned Counsel for the respondent and on perusal of the impugned judgment, the appellant is entitled for interest from the date of application.

Hence, the correction is carried out in paragraph No.32 of the judgment dated 08/03/2023 passed in First Appeal No.56/2023 as "The respondent - Railway is directed to pay compensation of Rs.8,00,000/-

02.caf.912.24.odt (Rupees Eight Lakhs only) to the claimant within a period of 60 days from the receipt of the copy of judgment along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of the application".
