This is an application filed by applicants for extension of time for payment of fine.
Heard Shri Ghare, learned advocate for applicants and Ms Barabde, learned A.P.P. for respondent-State. Perused the application. Learned advocate for applicants submits that as per order of this Court, the appellants were directed to deposit the fine amount within a period of four weeks, however as the said order was not communicated by him to appellants inadvertently, the appellants could not deposit the said fine amount. Learned advocate further submits that appellants had no intention to flout the order passed by this Court and they may be permitted to deposit the fine amount in the Court and the said period be accordingly extended.
In view of the fact that there was no intentional delay on the part of the appellants to avoid to deposit the fine amount in this Court, the period for depositing the fine amount needs to be extended by one week from today. Hence the order.
The applicants-appellants are permitted to deposit the fine amount in this Court within a period of one week from today. Criminal Application stands disposed of.
