Heard.

The applicant, apprehending arrest in crime registered against him for the offences punishable under Section 354-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, has sought pre-arrest bail. This Court has granted interim protection by order dated 24th March, 2017.

The submission on behalf of the applicant is that he is falsely implicated, because of rivalry with Teachers of the School where the victim is studying.

It is submitted that after this Court granted interim protection, the applicant has co-operated with the Investigating Agency.

The applicant, aged about 52 years, is working as Teacher in a School. The crime is registered on the complaint

2 aba184.17 of the victim (aged about 15 years and 3 months at the time of incident) studying in 10th class of another School but required to travel by the same Bus by which the applicant travels.

Considering the facts of the case, I am not inclined to grant the prayer made in the application. The application is dismissed.

As the applicant has enjoyed the interim protection granted by this Court by the order passed on 24th March, 2017, the applicant is directed to surrender within one week failing which the note of his conduct be taken at all stages of the proceedings.
