On previous date, following order was passed : "Name of petitioner's counsel is not appearing in the cause list despite the fact that Advocate Mr. R. D. Hajare has been appointed from Legal Aid Panel. Registrar, Judicial-I shall enquire into the matter and take corrective steps.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking directions against the respondents to release him immediately by giving him benefits of Government Resolutions (G.Rs.) dated 2-8-2004 and 15-3-2010. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that even if, the benefit under the aforesaid G.Rs is extended, the petitioner's term of sentence will complete on 12-11-2026 and, therefore, he cannot be released prior thereto.

Stand over to 11-12-2025.

Counsel for petitioner submits that if the petitioner will be released on 12th November, 2026, he has no further grievance.

We have noted in our earlier order the statement of learned A.P.P. saying that even if, the benefit under the aforesaid G.Rs is extended, the petitioner's term of sentence will complete on 12th November, 2026. It would mean that he will be released on the aforesaid date only if he is entitled for benefits under the said G.Rs.

With the aforesaid clarification, the petition is disposed of.

The fees of the appointed learned counsel Mr. R. D. Hajare be quantified and paid as per rules. (JUDGE) (JUDGE) Tambe
