This is an application for extension of the period of furlough leave to the applicant.

The applicant is granted furlough leave by this Court vide order dated 20/11/2019 passed in Criminal Writ Petition No. 412/2019. The period of furlough leave granted to him was extended from time to time due to the current situation which is created due to pandemic of COVID-19.

As the lockdown is still continuing due to the aforesaid situation, I am inclined to allow the application and the same is accordingly allowed. The period of furlough leave granted to the applicant is further extended till 31/05/2020.
