By this application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicant seeks directions to the non-applicant to release him on bail. The applicant is arrested in connection with Crime No.240 of 2019, registered with the non-applicant Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 307, 323, 506-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Crime is registered against the applicant on the complaint lodged by his daughter in law. The facts on record show that according to the prosecution, the applicant assaulted the complainant with some hard and blunt object causing injury on her right thigh and right forearm. The applicant is aged about 54 years. The applicant is in jail since 27th January 2020. Charge-sheet is filed. The non-applicant has not been able to point out that further custody of the applicant is required.

Considering the facts of the case and the present situation, following order is passed:

2 BA294.2020 Applicant-Dashrath Kundlik Bomble, having been arrested in Crime No.240 of 2019, he be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond for Rupees Twenty Thousand and furnishing cash security of Rupees Ten Thousand. The applicant shall attend the trial on each and every date unless granted exemption by the Sessions Court. The Criminal Application is allowed in the above terms.
