By this writ petition the petitioners pray that the license fees paid by them for the years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 for operating their CL-III and FL-III license be either refunded or adjusted in view of the fact that during the relevant period the petitioners could not operate the said license. It is seen that on 02/03/2019 the petitioners have made a representation to the Collector, Amravati seeking such relief. This representation has been received by the office of the Collector on 03/03/2020. It is informed that there is no decision taken as yet on the said representation. The interests of justice would be met by directing the respondent No.3Collector, Amravati to take a decision on the aforesaid representation in accordance with law. If necessary, the petitioners could be granted an opportunity of hearing while taking such decision. Since the representation is pending from 03/03/2020 a decision may be taken within six weeks from the

With aforesaid directions, the writ petition is partly allowed and disposed of.
