This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 1189 days in filing appeal challenging the judgment dated 18.10.2016, passed in LAC No.182/2008, by the 3rd Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Amravati, partly granting enhanced compensation to the applicant.

The learned counsel for the applicants has drawn attention of this Court to paragraphs 1 to 3 of the application in support of his contention to condone the delay.

The learned counsel for the applicant - Corporation submits that, if the application is allowed, the interest for the delayed period be waived.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and having perused the application, the delay of 1189 days in filing the appeal be condoned, subject to waiver of interest for the delayed period. 5.
