By this petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondent No.3-Education Officer (Secondary) to grant approval to the appointment of the petitioner No.2 on the post of Shikshan Sevak with effect from 20/07/2012.

It is stated on behalf of the petitioners that though the proposal of the petitioner No.2 was sent to the respondent No.3Education Officer (Secondary) in August, 2012, the same has not been decided as yet.

Since the learned counsel for the petitioners only seeks a direction to the respondent No.3 to consider and decide the proposal of the petitioner No.2 within a time frame and since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.3 to decide the proposal of the petitioner No.2 as early as possible and positively within a period of six weeks.
