The Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the stay application was decided by respondent No.1 on 18/03/2025, and therefore, the purpose of filing the present petition has been served. He also submitted that, according to the rules, the appellate authority is required to decide the appeal within four weeks, which has already been exceeded since the appeal has been pending for more than four weeks with the appellate authority. Despite this, respondent No.1 has not yet decided the said appeal. Therefore, he seeks a direction against Respondent No.1 to decide the appeal within a period of four weeks.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that he is ready to abide by the directions given by this Court.

In view of this, the writ petition is disposed of as the purpose for which it was filed has been served. 5.

The respondent No.1 is hereby directed to decide the appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
