This is an application filed for permission to deposit the amount as directed by this Court by an order dated 20/06/2018.

02] The appellant was directed to deposit the amount within a period of six weeks from 20/06/2018. Thereafter, an extension was sought to deposit the amount. By an order dated 16/12/2020, this Court granted two weeks' time to deposit the amount and it was made clear that in case of failure, the stay granted earlier will stand vacated automatically. The appellant failed to deposit the amount. Consequently, the stay granted earlier stood vacated. 03] Now, the present application is filed seeking leave of this Court to deposit the decretal amount and the details of the cheque are enclosed. The reasons, why the amount could not be deposited, are stated in the civil

911.caf.854.22 2/2 application. For the reasons stated in the application and now that even the cheque is ready for deposit, the application deserves to be allowed.

04] Accordingly, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (i). Cheque to be deposited within a period of one week from today. Registry to accept it. 05] Though there is no prayer made in the application for reimposing of the interim order passed on 20/06/2018, now that the application for delay has been accepted and as even the cheque of the decretal amount is ready for deposit, on the oral request made by the learned Counsel for the appellant, the order dated 20/06/2018 is reimposed.
