We permit the petitioner to appear before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur, on 07.04.2025 as he is claiming substitution of his candidature in the light of the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No. 3701 of 2022 ( Kalpana wd/o Vilas Taram and anr. vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) with connected writ petitions, decided on 28.05.2024.

In that view of the matter, the Chief Executive Officer shall consider the claim of the petitioner for substitution and for grant of compassionate appointment in the light of the judgment in Kalpana Vilas Taram (supra).

If so required, the petitioner shall produce the copy of the petition alongwith its annexures before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur.

The Chief Executive Officer to communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before him/her.
