ATE : AUGUST 09 , 2024 As the petitioner is holding Special Backward Class (SBC) certificate of belonging to 'Koli' caste and in view of pre-constitutional era entries in relation to grandfather and father of the petitioner as that of belonging to 'Koli' caste (SBC), Mr.Bute, learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, made a prayer for withdrawal of the present petition. 2) As such, the petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, it shall be open for the petitioner to seek protection of service on a supernumerary post in view of his claim of belonging to 'Koli' caste (Special Backward Class), which will be considered and decided in accordance with the policy of the Government without getting influenced by the decision of the present petition.
