Heard Shri Wakode, learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Thakare, learned APP for the nonapplicant - State. Hearing is conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality is proper.

By order dated 09.06.2020, this Court granted ad interim Anticipatory Bail to the applicant. Today, this Court reconsidered the material on record on the basis of affidavit-in-reply on behalf of the State. Though, the learned counsel for the applicant strongly pressed for confirmation of the interim protection, affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the State reveals the criminal antecedents of serious nature against the applicant. As per Annexure R-1,

0707aba219.20 which is filed along with the affidavit-in-reply, as many as three crimes during the period from 2014 to 2017 for the serious offence punishable under Section 307 with allied sections have been registered against the present applicant.

In the present case, although the name of the present applicant is reflected through the statements given by the co-accused, considering his criminal antecedents and considering the fact that the lethal weapons (pistol without license) were supplied to the co-accused by this applicant, the applicant does not deserve Anticipatory Bail and hence the application is rejected. The order dated 09.06.2020 of this Court granting ad-interim protection to him is recalled. Criminal Application stands disposed of accordingly.
