By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent - State to appoint the "authority" as defined under Section 51 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, to decide the reference under Section 64 of the said Act.

Shri Rode, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government states, on instructions, that the process of appointing The "authority" under Section 51 of the Act of 2013 would be completed within a period of four months. .....2/-
