This is an appeal of convicted accused namely Shankar S/o Bapurao Kale challenging the order of conviction dated 20.07.2017 in Special Sessions Case No. 22/2015. It is a Jail appeal filed by Advocate Mr. S. G. Joshi, appointed through High Court Legal Services SubCommittee, Nagpur. 4.

It is brought to the notice that thereafter the same appellant has engaged a private counsel who has filed another appeal bearing Criminal Appeal No. 226/2020 raising the same challenge to the order of conviction. Since the accused has engaged an Advocate of his choice and filed separate appeal, this appeal need not be entertained for the same cause.
