DATED : JULY 26, 2021 By this petition under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking relief of granting employment as Night Watchman in the prison. This Court on 10.06.2021, issued notice to the respondents, pursuant to which, respondent no.2 has filed reply and in paragraph 4 has stated as under: "4.

It is submitted that the present petitioner is given work in kitchen from 22.05.2021. In future selection committee is competent to take decision on promotion of Prison Warder and Watchman."

In view of the solemn statement made by respondent no.2 in paragraph 4, grievance of petitioner stands redressed.

Respondent no.2 shall take appropriate decision as regards promotion of petitioner as Prison Warder and Watchman, in accordance with law.

The petition stands disposed of.
