The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 13.09.1996 passed by the Director of Education, Maharashtra State, Pune by which an Administrator was appointed for a period of three years from 24.09.1996. While admitting the writ petition, this Court on 28.03.2002 granted interim relief and stayed operation of the aforesaid order. In view of the fact that the impugned order itself states that the administrator was appointed for three years with effect from 24.09.1996, in view of interim order the purpose for challenging the impugned order has been served as the period of three years had come to an end. Hence the writ petition stands disposed of with no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE svk
