2] The petitioner - tenant is seeking to amend the writ petition to incorporate a challenge to the order dated 12.02.2016 passed by the Appellate Court below Exh.25 thereby rejecting the application of the petitioner - tenant to amend the written statement. The petitioner is also seeking leave to incorporate appropriate challenges to the validity of the order of rejection of permission to amend the written statement.

3] None appears on behalf of respondents - landlord.

4] It would be appropriate if the petitioner is permitted to amend the petition since all that is sought to be introduced is a challenge to the order of rejection of rejection of application to amend the written statement.
