Petitioners challenge is to the orders passed by the revenue authorities mainly the order dated 05-11-2024 by respondent no.1Additional Commissioner, Amravati and the order dated 20-12-2022 passed by respondent no.2 and dated 31-08-2020 passed by respondent no.3 Sub-Divisional Officer, Khamgaon. Petitioners grievance is against the mutation entries recorded by the officials and the reason for filing the instant petition is the impugned order dated 05-11-2024 passed by respondent no.-1-Additional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravati. 3.

Learned AGP for respondents raises a preliminary objection about maintainability of the petition in view of alternate remedy to file revision before the State Government. In support of his submissions he relies on judgment of Hon'

ble Supreme Court in the matter of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani vs State of Maharashtra and others, reported in (2016) 2 SCC 213.

Having regard to the fact that there is an alternate efficacious remedy available to the petitioners, no indulgence is warranted

2 wp 4921.25.25.odt with the impugned order at this stage. Writ petition is not maintainable and hence it is dismissed on that count alone. All issues raised by the petitioners on merits are kept open.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners desire to file a revision application by availing the alternate remedy and if it is filed, the same be decided by the authorities expeditiously.

Writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
