Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

Post transfer of the plot in favour of the petitioner after sanctioning the scheme under Section 20 of the Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1976, the petitioner urges that the name of the erstwhile land owner ought to have been removed from the revenue record including that of city survey in view of the mandate provided in the Circular dated 30.10.1996.

It is claimed that the petitioner's representation to that effect is pending consideration since 03.03.2023. 4.
As such, we dispose of the petition by directing the respondents to decide the representation by taking into consideration the copy of the petition and the annexures thereto expeditiously and in any case within a period of three months from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the Competent Authority.
