The allegation is that on 17-5-2020 the applicant abused some Police Officers. The Police Officers allegedly abused did not lodge report. However, video purporting to be of the incident came to be circulated and it was thereafter that on 30-5-2020 an offence punishable under Section 353 and other provisions of the Indian Penal Code is registered vide Crime 233/2020. 3.

Considering the accusations, I am satisfied that custodial interrogation is not necessary.

Even otherwise, the applicant has made out a case for pre-arrest protection.

The pre-arrest protection granted vide order dated 29-6-2020 is made absolute with the only modification that the applicant shall attend the
