DATE : 01.04.2016 Since we found that it was necessary for the Deputy Collector and the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Nagpur to make a reference to the authority under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions from the respondent no.3 - Deputy Collector, Nagpur, states that the respondent no.3 would make a reference in respect of the dispute to the authority under the Act of 2013 as early as possible.
By accepting the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, which would be binding on the Deputy Collector, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
