JUDGMENT

(PER : A.S. CHANDURKAR, J.) RULE. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The only relief sought by the petitioner is for a direction to be issued to the respondents to complete the pending departmental enquiry against him.

Today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents, on instructions, submits that within a period of six months

WP 1859-2022 Judgment from the next date of proceedings, enquiry would be completed. 4.

Accepting the said statement made on behalf of the Regional Enquiry Authority, it is directed that the departmental enquiry against the petitioner shall be completed within a period of six months from 05/07/2022, which is the next date of the proceedings. Since, the petitioner has superannuated from service in the year 2017, no further extension of time would be granted.
