The present petition is filed mainly for the following relief :- "(a) The respondent may be directed to reimburse the Surety amount of Rs.25,000/- that was imposed on him as a Surety amount during his release on Covid Emergency parole vide order dated 16.02.2022; (b) xxxxx"

Heard both the sides as well as perused the affidavit in reply on behalf of respondent no.2. It emerges that the application filed by the petitioner on 06-09-2023 is still pending with the Special D.I.G. (Prison), and therefore we direct the concerned Authority or the competent Authority to whom if at all the said application has been made over, to decide the said application within a period of three weeks from today.

Copy of the order be given to the petitioner within a period of one week after the order is passed. 4.
