The petitioner and the respondent have filed joint application dated 06-01-2016 signed by the petitioner, respondent, Advocate for the petitioner and Advocate for the respondent.

Shri P.B. Patil, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that in view of the amicable settlement as stated in the joint application, the petitioner does not want to prosecute the contempt petition.

Considering the facts of the case and the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, in my view, it will not be appropriate to exercise the jurisdiction under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

The contempt petition is disposed. No costs.

In view of the disposal of the contempt petition, the order passed by this Court directing issuance of nonbailable warrant to secure the presence of the respondent is rendered ineffective and therefore, recalled. The civil application is disposed in the above terms.
