By this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent nos.1 and 2 to consider the petitioner to be eligible for the post of Section Assistant, from the date on which he has secured the eligibility.

Shri A. Sambre, the learned counsel for the respondent no.2 states on instructions, that the name of the petitioner is included in the list of candidates to whom the respondent-University has proposed to grant the benefit. It is stated that a duly constituted Committee would consider the individual cases of the persons, whose names are included in the list in which the name of the petitioner is also included and would pass appropriate orders. It is stated that the grievance of the petitioner should stand redressed in these

circumstances.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent no.2, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner's grievance would stand redressed. In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the Writ Petition, with no order as to costs.
