The request for extension of the period of furlough leave is made on the only ground that the petitioner's mother was suffering from serious illness. However, no details of ailment, nor any documents in support of the same are placed.

In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. Criminal Writ Petition No. 259 of 2016 is rejected.

Fees payable to learned Adv. [appointed] for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.1500/- [rupees fifteen thousand only].
