This is an application seeking to initiate action under Section 340[1] of the Code of Criminal Procedure against the non-applicant alleging that she gave false evidence in judicial proceeding.

From the averments made in the entire application we could not get any specific contention as to in which judicial proceeding which particular false statement has been allegedly Rgd.

Order 0104appln27.24 made by the non-applicant. The learned Counsel for the applicant would submit that the nonapplicant has filed Criminal Application (APL) No.278/2024 in this Court, wherein she has made certain false statement. The said criminal application is pending.

Since no specific averments are made, we dispose of the present application with liberty to the applicant to move in concerned judicial proceeding for seeking appropriate relief. We clarify that if such an application is moved by the applicant, the same would be considered on its own merit.

Criminal Application is accordingly disposed of.
