The appellant - State of Maharashtra has applied for grant of leave to file Criminal Appeal against the Judgment and Order dated 7th January, 2015 passed by learned Special Judge, Chandrapur, in Special [Child] Case No. 9 of 2014, acquitting the respondent - accused of the offence punishable under Section 376, Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 4,8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Heard.
For the reasons stated, Leave is granted. Application is disposed of.
