IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY,
APPELLATE SIDE NAGPUR BENCH, NAGPUR WRIT PETITION NO. 2137 OF 2014 Rushi Bhiwaji Patil Vs. Sub Divisional Officer Nagpur & Ors. ........................................................................................................................................................................ Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court orders or directions Court's or Judge's Order and Registrar's orders ........................................................................................................................................................................ Shri A. M. Kadu AGP for respondent nos. 1 & 2. Smt. V. N. Chitnavis Adv for respondent 3.
CORAM: A.S.CHANDURKAR J.
DATED: 24th JULY, 2015.
On 10.07.2015 time was sought on behalf of the petitioner which was granted by way of last chance. Today, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner.
A preliminary objection is raised by the learned counsel for the respondents on the ground that an alternate statutory remedy is available to the petitioner under provisions of Section 247 read with Section 249 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. As the impugned order has been passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, it is clear that alternate statutory remedy is available to the petitioner. Hence, with liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy, the writ petition stands disposed of. JUDGE svk
