The applicant herein has sought to condone the delay of 790 days in preferring the appeal against the judgment and award, dated 14/09/2016 passed by the Reference Court.

First Appeal St. No. 6698/2020 :

By order dated 06/11/2020, this Court had stayed the execution and implementation of the impugned judgment subject to deposit of the balance amount of compensation within a period of three months.

Learned Counsel for the appellant states that the cheque was drawn in the wrong name and seeks extension of time to deposit the amount. Time is extended by four weeks.
