The order passed by the trial Court rejecting the application filed by the defendant praying that the Deputy Superintendent of Land Records be directed to produce the documents on record of the civil suit to enable the defendant to cross-examine the plaintiff, is challenged.

The defendant has not quoted the provision under which the directions are sought. It is not pointed out that inspite of all possible efforts the defendant could not get the documents. Though the defendant attempted to make out a ground that he sought the documents from the authority, however, the documents are not given as matter is pending before the Civil Court, nothing is produced on record to substantiate the contention.

2 wp4503.16 I do not find any illegality in the impugned order. The petition is dismissed. No costs.
