ATED : 4th August, 2021 Heard learned Advocate for the applicant.

This is an application for appointment of an Arbitrator to arbitrate on the dispute between the parties. None appears for the respondents though served.

Vide order dated 18.12.2020, this Court had appointed Mr. Samir S. Das, Judge (Retired) as sole Arbitrator. Pursuant to the said order, disclosure as required under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 was sought from the proposed Arbitrator Shri S.S.Das, who has sent his communication dated 25.01.2021 showing his willingness to act as an Arbitrator to resolve the dispute between the parties. The proposed Arbitrator has also submitted the disclosure as required by relevant provisions of the Act of 1996. Hence the following order :

ORDER

Shri Samir S.Das, Judge (Retired) is appointed as an Arbitrator to resolve the dispute between the parties.

04.08.21.MCA. 443.17 The appellant shall deposit Rs. 10,000/- ( rupees ten thousand) with the Registry of this Court within eight weeks, towards processing charges.

Rule is made absolute accordingly, In the circumstances, the parties to bear their own costs. The Application stands disposed of.
