The challenge raised in this writ petition is to the initiation of the Departmental Enquiry against the petitioner pursuant to the charge-sheet dated 31.12.2021.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, we find that the enquiry is in progress and at this stage we are not inclined to interfere in the proceedings. It is open for the petitioner to raise all challenges at the conclusion of the proceedings if any adverse orders are passed against him. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner sought to rely upon the decisions in Orxy Fisheries Pvt.Ltd. Versus Union of India & Others [2010 AIR SCW 7105], Amrutha M.George Versus Spices Board Cochin & Others [2016 LAB.I.C. (NOC) 442 (KER.)] and CWP-13231-2017 [Pardeep Kumar Versus Union Territory, Chandigarh & Others], we find that interference at this stage is not warranted. Keeping all points raised in the writ petition open for being raised at the conclusion of the enquiry, the writ petition is dismissed with no order as to costs. (URMILA JOSHI-PHALKE, J.) (A. S.
