Dated : 15 th April, 2015 The petitioner was required to furnish a declaration in the prescribed form along with the nomination form stating that he has submitted an application to the Scrutiny Committee for verification of his caste claim, which is pending. The petitioner is also required to attach along with the nomination form a receipt of submission of caste certificate for verification to the Scrutiny Committee.

The declaration said to have been given by the petitioner on 6-4-2015 does not bear the signature of the Returning Officer and it is alleged that the said declaration is missing from the record. The receipt produced on record bearing No.108463 does not bear any date of submission of papers for verification of caste certificate. There is no statement contained in the petition that the certificate was submitted to the Scrutiny Committee for verification prior to the date of submitting the nomination paper. The symbols are already allotted.

In view of this, no interference is called for in the order impugned in this petition. The petition is dismissed.
