Heard Shri Vyas, learned Counsel for the applicant and Ms. Jaipurkar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State through Video Conferencing.

The applicant is protected vide ad-interim bail Order dated 10/07/2020.

A perusal of the reply filed on behalf of the non-applicant / State does not show any justifiable ground for custodial interrogation of the present applicant.

As per Prosecution story, the applicant - Ravi Pundlik Bobade assaulted the informant and his father with fist and kick blows.

It is stated that the main accused in this case is already released on regular bail.

28-ABA255.2020 Considering the role attributed to the present applicant and considering the fact that the investigation is almost completed, the custodial interrogation of the present applicant in my opinion, would not be necessary.

Furthermore, there are no criminal antecedent point out by the prosecution.

The order of interim protection is hereby confirmed on the same conditions.

The criminal application is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly.
