Grievance of the petitioners-Mathadi labours is that their wages are revised in the year 2011, but they are not paid wages accordingly. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 states that wages have been revised vide order dated 16.8.2011 and the office of Collector appears to have sent communication dated 24.8.2011 to the State Government for its approval.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that wages as revised can be released after respondent no. 1 State Government accords approval. It is further stated that the State Government is evolving uniform wages payable to Mathadi workers working with various establishments. Mr Ahmed points out that in reply placed before this Court, the State Government has made statement on oath that proposal

2 wp2833.14 received from the Collector shall considered in next two months He submits that even though that period has expired, no decision as yet has been taken by the State Government. 4.

On 3rd December 2014 this Court granted time to learned Assistant Government Pleader to make statement as to when the decision would be taken by the Government in the matter. That statement has not been made till date. 5.

Therefore, we direct respondent no. 1 to take suitable decision on the proposal forwarded by the Collector, Nagpur within a period of two months from today. 6.

With this direction and keeping all the rival contentions open, we dispose of writ petition. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE joshi
